Terms and Conditions
UK Retreats
Health
If you have a medical condition or injury, or are a complete beginner to yoga, it is your responsibility to consult a medical practitioner to check that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake yoga classes and other physical activities that you may choose to do whilst on the retreat.
It is also your responsibility to let the organiser know if you have any injuries/conditions and to be mindful at all times of your own body’s capability.
If you experience injury during any activity during the retreat, please communicate this to the organiser and stop participating immediately.
Non-disclosure of medical conditions and injuries can invalidate your insurance and thus invalidate the contractual obligation between organiser and participant.
Acknowledgement of risks
In agreeing to these terms & conditions, you are aware that all exercise and travel carries risks, and acknowledge you are participating willingly, and in knowledge of these risks. You recognise that the organiser is not able to provide you with medical advice, and that any information provided should be used as a guideline only.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended for UK retreats.
The organiser does not accept any liability for unexpected cancellation, sickness, injury, travel disruptions of any kind, or loss of or damage to participants’ personal property.
It is strongly recommended that you take out an adequate travel insurance policy that covers all items listed in the sample schedule – this includes yoga and walking or hiking if listed.
It’s particularly useful to get insurance that covers cancellation by yourself, so you’re completely covered if you need to cancel late in the day.
Cancellation policy
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you cancel 60 days or more before the retreat start date, you will receive a 50% refund of any payments made, excluding the deposit payment.
If you cancel less than 60 days before the retreat start date, you agree to forfeit all costs and no refund can be given.
In the event that the retreat is cancelled by the organiser for any reason, 100% of all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded back to you.
Privacy policy
Any information you provide online or offline will be kept confidential and will not be made public without prior to your written consent.
